Users and courses
Managing users
The Users screen is where you view and manage everyone in your institution (including teachers and students). You can add users one by one, import them in bulk from a source such as CSV, or edit existing records.
Coordinators only
Users screen
Click Users in the left menu to open a table of everyone in your institution. The table shows name, email, and institution ID; temporary users are marked with a Temporary badge.

- The search box lets you filter by name, email, or institution ID.
- Use the All menu in the top right to narrow the list to a specific role, such as students or teachers.
- Users with a Temporary badge have not yet registered permanently (for example, they are waiting on an invite).
- The
Editlink on the right lets you update each row.
Adding users one by one
The '+ Add new user' button in the top right opens a short form for adding a single user. First name, last name, and institution ID are required; email is optional.

- Institution ID (for example a national ID or school number) must be unique for every user in the system.
- If Email is left blank, an invite email cannot be sent automatically (a warning appears under the dialog).
- If Send registration email to user is checked, the user receives a link to set their password.
- Make coordinator grants the new user the same privileges as you; use it carefully.
Bulk import from CSV
Instead of entering many users one by one, use 'Auto-select from another source' to import in bulk from existing sources such as a CSV file.

- The Existing Integrations dropdown lists data sources defined for your institution. By default it includes
Import from CSV. - In the Choose File area you can drag or click to select CSV files up to 100 MB (including PDF).
- When a CSV import finishes, new users are automatically marked Temporary; invite emails can be sent later one by one or in bulk.

Editing users
The Edit link on the right of any table row lets you update that user's name, email, and institution ID. From the same window you can promote a user to coordinator or revoke those privileges.
To remove a user from the system, use the danger zone at the bottom of the edit window; this permanent delete cannot be undone.
