Creating a course
A new course is created with a three-step wizard: first you enter the course basics, then you assign one or more teachers, and finally you select enrolled students. Each step is saved automatically; if you leave mid-way, you can pick up where you left off.
Overview
To start the course creation wizard, click the Add new course card on the Courses page. The dialog shows a three-step progress bar at the top: *Create course*, *Add teacher*, *Enroll students* .
Add your users first
Step 1 — Course details
In the first step, enter the course name and a short description. This information appears on the course card coordinators see and in the list for users enrolled in the course.

- In Name, enter the display name of the course (for example
Türkçe Dersi,Fen Bilimleri). - Description is optional; it is useful for class, term, or topic details.
- When you click Create, the course is saved and the wizard automatically moves to Step 2.
Step 2 — Add teacher
In the second step you must assign at least one teacher. The table lists all users in the institution; select the people you want as teachers and click Add.

- The search box filters by name, institution ID, email, or username.
- Go to profile opens a user's details in a new tab; check the profile first if you are unsure.
- Below the paginated table you see how many people are selected. You can select more than one teacher.
- Return to table goes back to the table without clearing the selection. + Auto-select from another source lets you select in bulk from external systems (CSV, and similar).
Step 3 — Enroll students
In the third and final step, select the students who will enroll in the course. The table uses the same interface as Step 2; users you select here are added to the Enrolled Students list.

- A user cannot be selected as both teacher and student at the same time. People you added as teachers in Step 2 still appear in this list, but you cannot select them.
- If a student is missing from the list, import them quickly from CSV with + Auto-select from another source, or add them as a user first on theUserspage.
- When you click Add, course setup is complete and you are taken to the course details page.
Step 3 — No students selected
Until you select at least one student, the Add button stays inactive. If you do not want to continue, close with Return to table, or leave the course open for adding students later.

- To finish creating the course with zero students, close the wizard with
×in the top right; the course stays saved and you can add students later from course settings. - You can search students across multiple pages of the same table; page numbers are at the bottom.
What happens next?
After you finish the third step, you are taken to the new course'sdetails page. From there you can add assignments or exams, update the student and teacher lists, or edit course information.
